CAS latency is different, should it affect my PC?

I currently have 2 x Kingston HyperX Fury 8gb ram with a timing of c15 and 2 x Kingston HyperX Fury 8gb ram with a timing of c16. My issue is that when I have only one set of ram in my pc works perfectly. BUT when both sets are in (ram with timing of c15 in slots 2 and 4 while ram with timing of c16 is in slots 1 and 3) that my pc randomly freezes with bot sets in. It works fine for about 20-30 mins and then it freezes and requires a manual restart to become functional again.

The ram is IDENTICAL except for the timings which is c15 for the old ram and c16 for the new ram.

My question is WHY the ram does this. I brought one of my old sticks of ram into bcom (where I bought my pc and ram) and they said there should be no issues with their compatibility. So If anyone knows the issue here could you post a comment below and maybe let me know the issue and a possible fix?

Thanks in advance.
