Building a new 2021 PC. Last one was 2012 and I need help!

Looking to go AIO due to the i9 on a Phanteks P500A case

What is the best orientation for the AIO, top or front mount? Also how should the case fans be adjusted?

I am used to the traditional front intake, top and rear exhaust.

Is something like this doable with a TOP mount AIO?

Solution
  1. Mounting up the top of the case is best
  2. Mounting at the front with the pipes at the bottom is second best.
  3. Mounting at the front with the pipes at the top is third best
Always make sure the pump/heatsink is lower than the top of the radiator ( this way air bubbles won't get to the pump )

This is how you could have it ( I cannot mount mine to the top of the case due to size restrictions )
The radiator is on the far right, with the fans on the left of it, pulling air into the case
