Case Cooling Questions

I have an Antec Sonata case, its pretty old don't really feel like getting another case for the build I'm putting together. This thing doesn't really have holes everywhere for cooling like most newer cases but a drill and some planning can fix that. I like the case because its pretty basic looking, not planning to make it flashy with lights or anything. Also it pretty big so I can fit alot of "goodies" into it. I'm planning on putting a Sabertooth 990fx and fx 8350 into it, I got a noctua dh 14 for the cpu cooler. Already have a cooler master 120mm case fan. Was planning on getting a zotac gtx 970 for the gpu. Now what my question is will I have to worry about keeping this thing cool? Should I make it two 120mm case fans? Not really going to be doing heavy work loads, or any overclocking but just in case I do I dont want to worry about overheating. I'll mod the case if necessary. I'll also be running an ubuntu based version of linux as the os.

Logically, the answer is to build your new system in your existing box, then monitor heat values using a system monitor app. If you need to drill a side hole, zinc plated cases can be real difficult to drill a large hole big enough for a case fan but it is possible. You can always buy another cheap case and start again. You might even go crazy and drill a hole in your exterior wall of your house and pipe cold air into the case, just like what I have done.
