Case fan.... 3pin on a 4 pin connector

Can i connect case fan which is of 3pin ona 4 pin connector
Plz explain it briefly

Yes. 3 pin fans are DC and 4 pin are PWM. Just follow how the connectors are keyed. There is usually a small slot or nub which allows you to figure out which pins to slide the connector on.

yes. just line up the clip and insert the connector...
it wont harm the fan or the motherboard.
