Case fan appears to stall/starts then stops

So I was away for 4 days on a camping trip and when I got back my case fan started stalling, only spinning very slowly for half a second. Any ideas?

Perhaps the fan bearing has given out, has debris lodged int eh fan motor/bearing or the fan was of a bad build quality. Can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your case fan's make and model?
