Case Fan Cables won’t connect to the fan headers on my mobo

So I recently received all of my parts to build my first pc. While building it, everything went fine besides the case fan connectors.

I chose the MSI B350 Tomahawk Mobo and the Cooler Master Masterbox Pro RGB case. Everything said it was compatible but I can’t plug in the case fan connectors to the fan header on the motherboard. The three RGB fans in the front of the case have a splitter that connects all three fan cables and makes it to where you only have to plug in to one of the fan headers on the mobo. But for some reason the fan cables won’t connect to the mobo. I have tried every single fan header and none of them will let me plug in the fan cables. Please help.

You might be trying to connect the RGB 4-pin connector to the fan headers.
You need to connect the RGB to the RGB header on the motherboard.

Is there an RGB header on the B350 tomahawk motherboard? Because I was trying to plug it into the fan header.

Yes, the 4-pin JLED1 header located at the bottom, below the PCI slot.
