Case Fan Compatibility ASAP!

Solution
You have 3 system fan headers on your motherboard, so as long as your fan cable is long enough to get back to the motherboard, and it has the correct cable to plug into the motherboard, you should be fine.

Many find it rude to ask a group of volunteers to hurry up which is what ASAP implies. Many users will usually ignore posts because of it. Now let that be the end of this so it doesn't go any further off topic.

I had a lengthy discussion about that
bottom line is:
4 pin =/= 4 pin
some 4 pin are "true" pwm, others control fan speed by voltage nevertheless
this _may_ lead to problems with the MLs bearing as it needs at least 8V to sustain the magnetic alignment, which isn't provided when the fan runs at idle speeds
I mean, they will work and as they are relatively new there hasn't been a long time test yet
you're basically _could_ be looking at a shorter lifespan for the fan and decreased performance (which will still be above the AF140)

as for blue LED fans, I'd go for Cougar CFD LED D14HB-B or Phanteks PH-F140SP LED though
