Just set up my computer yesterday and everything worked except the fan controller. I have a NZXT Phantom 820. I believe I have everything plugged in correctly but I'm not sure. I have all the fans connected to the front panel fan connectors and the molex plugged into my psi. Any help would be much appreciated!

It lights up though it just won't change the speeds:/

found this on their website. the mobo menus look very fancy lol. anyway try to find AI Suite II utility and disable the auto fan settings

I do not see an auto fan setting.

Wait, Wait Wait, most fan controllers don't have anything to do with the OS, Drivers, Software. They simply take power from the PSU, then vary it to each fan that is connected to it, if it's not adjusting the fan speeds, then it's a dead unit.

Its very possible it is a dead unit, but i know with my fan controller i had to disable the auto fan control in my bios or it wouldnt let me do anything. If his unit plugs into the mobo then its most likely theres a setting like mine that needs to be disabled

Ok I will try that tomorrow and get back to you!

Hi... I have the same issue, there is no difference in fan speed when I control it from the fan control switch. The led on/off switch works fine though.

I recently fixed the problem. I unplugged all the fan connectors from where they come stock and plugged them into a different plug with the appropriate label.( top fan plugged into plug labeled t and so on). Trying doing that and let me know if it worked for you

Hi...
I just put my ears close to the fans... and observed increase/decrease in the fans sound when I changed the speeds with fan control switch. However there is only a slight difference in the speeds.
Well... atleast it confirms the switch is not dead and is working.

Yeah the speeds really don't change that much. The way I made sure that it worked was if you turn it all the way down it will turn them off and then you know it's working!!

Mine still spins when I select the least option, and the highest option does not even looks like its even spinning at 50% capacity 🙁
I cant even hear the fans sound unless I put my ear close to it... Is the fans super quiet or what ???

Yeah mine even on high are not loud at all. I have to put my ear close to it to hear it.
