Hey Guys,
Got a weird issue with my 140mm case fan that I can't for the life of me figure out.
It seems as though the fan will only run without fail if I set it to spin at full speed in the BIOS, which obviously is way too loud but proves that the fan actually works. If I set the fan to "Normal" mode, it simply doesnt budge until the temperature starts to ramp up, whereby it begins to twitch. When it is in this twitching stage, I can manually push the fan and it will start spinning at the correct speed, but again this simply isnt a good fix as it requires me to open my side panel.
I have tried changing the settings in the BIOS, including setting manual fan control options but to no avail. Speedfan is also a huge no-go for this particular mobo.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreicate the input.
The motherboard is a Gigabyte Z97MX-Gaming 5
Thanks!
