Greetings.

I brought a Z370 MB and a Rosewill. Cullinan MX RGB case. The fan controller is a molex. I don't have the connector that connects directly to the PSU. I do have a connector where I can plug the molex into it, then plug the connector into the MB. The fans still aren't spinning. Can anyone help? I'm not too familiar with this bios, but maybe the answer is there?

Solution
Your motherboard 3pin or 4 pin fan header is low amperage 1A probably with mostly pulsating power meant to drive one or 2 fans,
Using a motherboard fan header to power a molex fan controller/ Hub could actually damage your motherboard, instead you need to power your fan controller through either a PSU peripheral molex duplicator ( allowing to provide power to a peripheral and your fan hub at the same time) or a PSU sata to molex adapter /splitter.

Makes sense. I suppose my follow up question is should the RGB fan controller be connected directly to the motherboard or PSU?

Thanks for getting back.

I did try different headers with the same result. The motherboard I have is the GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 5.

This Rosewill computer case has it's dedicated proprietary Fan/RGB control Hub which is completely independent from motherboard Fan or RGB headers:

- Fan speed control is built into the controller ( not through the motherboard)
- Power is provided to fan through Molex 4 pin connector that should be connected to Power Supply (not to motherboard fan header)
-Remotely controlled RGB lighting.

Gotcha. Thanks for the guidance so far. I should've prepped a bit more, but the RGB was literally the last thing I thought would be complicated.

I might have picked up the wrong wire for this. Picked up this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DV1Z22K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I assume the fans won't start up. Is there a better option?

That's a dual molex male to PCIe male adapter to power a video card from dual molex from PSU and wouldn't work , your Rosewill Hub has dual Molex in both male and female configuration which looks like it could be a molex pass-through = means you can power your RGB hub and power an extra device through it's second molex.
Double check your PSU looking for a Molex output (If PSU is modula check stored spare PSU cables), if not available you can use one of your PSU sata power connector by getting a sata to Molex adapter.

Figured as much after I read them. I'm going to storage tomorrow to go through my PSU wires. I'm sure I have a molex PSU wire. Are the options you listed earlier still valid, or should I have to look into other alternatives?

Whelp, looks like I don't have those molex connectors. Going to look into the alternatives. Maybe get same day shipping on Amazon. I'm not missing out on anything from going with a molex to SATA connection, right?

Since your PSU don't hae any molex connectors available, and since it has few Sata ones available, Sata to molex adapter/splitter is the way to go, or you could CAREFULLY order spare modular molex cables on ebay but need to be SPECIFIC TO YOUR POWER SUPPLY BRAND AND MODEL (molex cable wiring could be different within same PSU brand)
