I have the following:
Corsair - 100R ATX Mid Tower Case
AsRock AB350 Pro4 ATX
AMD R5-1600 @ 3.9GHz
8GB DDR4 3000 @ 2933MHz
EVGA (NVidia) GTX 950 FTW
1TB WD Blue 7200RPM HDD
Thermaltake - TR2 600 W ATX Power Supply (Just received a replacement Seasonic S12ii 520W)
Noctua - NF-S12B redux-1200 59.1 CFM 120mm Fan
My question is on the Corsair 100R it comes with a 120mm case fan in the back of the computer blowing air out of the case. I have a spare Noctua 120mm fan listed above and currently have it mounted in the top of the case towards the back bringing air into the case.
Today I plan to take the computer apart, install the Seasonic PSU and a Asus - DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer and while I am doing the install of these parts I was wondering where would be the best place to install the Noctua fan.
Do I leave the fan in back top of the case bringing air in or do I move the 120mm Noctua some where else?
