Hi all,

my motherboard only has 1 4-pin fan header that is already being occupied by an arctic F12 PWM PST case fan. I love the fan and I'm looking to replace the other 2 stock fans with this model if it's possible. Does anyone make a 4-pin male to molex connector, and if I go that route, can I still set the fan to automatically adjust its RPMs based on the internal case temperatures with something like speed fan?

Thanks!

There are adapters such as that, however they will run at the full molex speed, not control over them.
Your best option is to get a fan controller. That way you can do on the fly adjustments to your likings.

I can't. these fans would be going into a HTPC and there's only 1 front bezel on the case that's already being used by the dvd-rom.

the arctic f12 pwn pst fan does have a pigtail so you can hook up another fan to it. while that will probably work for the 2 fans I'd like to replace, I'm not sure if there's enough cable length to make both fans work. does anyone sell an extension for the 4-pin connector?

here's a photo of the connector on the fan:

interesting, I've never seen one of those.

I opened a ticket with arctic to see if the PWM functionality would still work if I pigtail 2 fans off of the main fan that's hooked up directly to the motherboard.
