As the pic shows, I slightly cut the wire of my case fan. It's a 120mm 3-pin fan and only one of the three wires is exposed. A tiny bit of the metal is separated from the wire, along with some insulation.
- I assume I should do something about it, even though it's such a minor damage/exposure?
- Should I buy some electrical tape and cover it up?
- Is there any risk involved in not replacing the wire or getting a new fan?
Any help is appreciated (as long as you know what you're talking about)!
