Case Fans Have 3 Pins But MOBO Supports 4

So I'm going to be getting an NZXT S340 Elite case, which comes with 2 of their fans preinstalled.. they are 3 pin connectors.

My motherboard MSI B450 Gaming Plus supports only 4 pin fan connectors.

Am I still able to connect the fans and will I be able to adjust the speed of them as well?

Yes they will work.

3 pin fans use volt regulation to control their speed, 4 pin fans are PWM, which use basically pulses of power to control their speed. You can always upgrade the fans later. You may need to go into your BIOS and switch the control mehtod form PWM to DC to change their speeds or they may be put on high or low by default.

Do I have change this setting individually for each fan in bios? As I am planning to buy 2 more fans for the case which are 4 pins.. so that the case has 4 fans all together.
