[SOLVED] Case Fans operating too loudly

I own 4 corsair ml120 pro fans which are meant to be very quiet, and my system also doesn't require that intense of cooling. However the fans in my case always operate very loudly on startup, idling or playing games. Could there be a reason for them to be operating so loudly?

What motherboard are they connected to?

If you do not have the PWM (or DC) ability to control speeds, chances are they're just running at 100% rpm. While fans can be optimized for silence, any 120mm fan running at 100% speed will produce a decent amount of noise (some more than others, of course)

The motherbord I am using is the Asus tuf gaming plus II and it does have pwm fan ports

Upon further inspection of the four fans two are running at 2500 rpm while the other 2 always stay at around 500rpm.

2400rpm is the upper-end of the fan speeds for ml120, so if they're running 100%

Check the BIOS setup for your fans, and ensure they're operating in PWM mode & that the curve is not set to 100%.

I've never seen an ASUS board default to 100% fan speed personally but, if @JozuaK hasn't manually configured it (in the BIOS or software) and yet it's running at ~2400rpm constantly, it's likely a default in the BIOS.
