Question Case Fans Running And Showing Up In Bios But Not Seeing Them In Any Other Monitoring Programs

May 20, 2020
Long story short. I'm working on overclocking my cpu and my temps aren't quite where I'd like them to be. I went into HWmonitor to check my fans to make sure they are spooling up to their max RPMs and HWmonitor is only showing data for three of my five fans. The CPU fan and two others are fine but the other two are not showing up at all. They all show up in the BIOS and they are all working but I can't, for the life of me, figure out why the other two will not show up in any of the hardware monitoring programs. I've tried Speedfan, HWinfo, and HWmonitor and nothing. I guess it's not a big deal since the BIOS sees them and they're working but it bothers me that I can't see what they are doing under load. Any help would be appreciated.
