Question Case fans stopped working

So as I was using my beautiful new build last night, my case fans stopped working. No rgb or spin at all.

I'm using a DIYPC vanguard v8, which has an aurus sync header for the fans.

My motherboard is a asrock phantom gaming 4, which uses polychrome. I'm aware the two aren't compatible but I'm not using polychrome to control the case fans.

My cpu fan, also not controlled by polychrome, works fine and is plugged in on the same line to the psu.

Everything boots fine and windows runs. My USB and power on the case work, just not the fans.

I have tried other fans on the same spot from the psu and they worked fine.

In Bios, my 4 fans show up as well as my case fan header. However, the header shows up as cpu fan 2/ w_pump switch, and the 4 fans show up as Cha fan/ wpump switch. They show no reading for speed.

No rgb or spin at all.
So the fans are essentially...dead? Have you tried pairing the fans standalone to the motherboard one at a time to verify that the hub on the case isn't dead?

ASRock have a number of board with that same moniker, which chipsetted board do you own? As for the board, what BIOS version are you on the time of writing?

The fans seam to have their own plugs going to the header that do not match the case fan sockets on the mobo, so I don't think I can run them straight to the mobo and skip the header.

My motherboard is the z690, and the bios version appears to be d5 2.03. Asrocks website is down right now (because why not?) Or I would try flashing the uefi and see if that works?

Have you checked the power cable going to the controller.
Looks to be a SATA power connector from the pics I could find.

Yes, I think it might be the power connection to the fan hub. Seams a little loose and everything else is working fine. Other fans on the same sata cable from the psu work fine too, so its has to be the hub right?

My only othe thought is that the motherboard isn't sending power specifically to those fans, but again that would have to be because the fan hub isn't working anymore?
