Hello,

I have recently built a PC,
I bought new case(Zalman Z7 NEO) that came with 4 FANS and a Fan hub.

The fans have 5pin connectors that go to the FAN Hub, the FAN Hub itself has 4pin molex connector for power(with two cables going in).

I plugged the power into 4Pin Molex connector that comes out directly from EVGA 750 GQ Perif port.
I tried moving it to diferent SATA/PERIF Ports as well but the fans didnt start working.
I noticed plastic burning smell, and as I investigated I found out that when connected the top of the fans,
where motors are located get hot and produce burning smell, the fans and RGB light don't turn on though.

What could be going wrong?? Faulty controller?? PSU?? Cables???

Is there a chance the fans are still okay even though they got hot and smelly?

Might want to list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

How are you connected to the controller? If you've followed through the instructions outlined in your case's manual, page-14, you should be up and running. Did you check the polarity for the RGB connector to the hub? Are you dealing with the fans that were bundled with the case?
