Would I need to get case fans for this build? Also if it was required, any recommendations and how many do I get?

Thought we had the same case for a second, but yours is matx. That said, I have one 120 in rear as exhaust and 140 in top as exhaust. You can fit two more 120s as intakes in the front.

so I have no knowledge on case fans, do they connect to the fan headers on the mobo?

I have the Q300L. Yes they do need extra fans, especially with a dGPU because the included fan is inadequate. For dGPU I recommend at least adding an intake fan. Two intake fans would be better. If you are not, then the included fan would be OK.

They connect to the fan headers on the mobo, but if you have a fan hub, they can be connected directly to SATA from the PSU.
