[SOLVED] Case front usb 3.0 and motherboard usb 3.2 Gen 1 header compatibility

Hi all,
I've just finished new build with one question left. As title says, I have front usb 3.0 on my case (CM Storm Trooper), double cable with 20 pins connector.
However my mb (Gigabyte Z590) has 3.2 Gen 1 header with 20 pins but last one is NO PIN. So as those two differs, should I feel safe plugging it in and is it compatible with each other?
That looked fishy to me so I left it unplugged for now. Thanks in advance.

As long as both the cable and header are the 19/20 pin wide Type A connector it will work but only at 3.0 speeds
