Hi guys i am thinking about buying the bitfenix prodgity case in white but i wondered since some of it is plastic will it go a bit yellow like white plastic does or is it a special sort if material? Any help would be appreciated thanks guys.
Hah, yes the case isn't as roomy as a mid or full tower, but you're using a matx board. Plus your PSU, if not mistaken, is modular so you won't have too much clutter. I get the feeling you just need a little reassurance on your first build. Case is good. Nice choice for a processor. 16 GB of ram is a bit much, when 8 GB is plenty but if you get a good deal go for it. Good luck with your build. Please mark solved to close this thread. Cheers, mate.
Yellowing of plastic takes a pretty long time, and usually heat. That case may not have been around long enough for anyone to have experienced the 'yellowing' (and yes, I know exactly what you are talking about).
Idea: contact their tech support and see if they have any idea.
Sorry, can't answer the cable management thing. Might want to do a google search on the case and look at a couple reviews.
Also try this magazine's web site and see what they have: I think they reviewed that case awhile back.

Also, go to Newegg.com, find that case in their 'computer cases' menu and read the owner reviews.
Second what nostall said. The case will outlive your system. The environment will play greater role than anything. Keep away from sunlight and excess heat if you can. IF you eventually see it yellow, 1:5 hydrogen peroxide solution will remove the yellow tint. My SNES system had the same problem.
tl;dr. Buy it if you like the case. It won't yellow at the rate you think it will provided you keep it away from windows and excess heat.
Thanks for the reply! But I can't keep it away from windows because I am installing WIndows 8 😀, In all serious though, I will keep it in the shade and the temperature is usually about 20-22 C in my room but 3 weeks in a year it could be 25 C but I only live in English so it's cold most of the day. Also this is my first build so would that case be first-builder friendly? I heard it's quite nice and easy to use and I like the fact that the MOBO is layed flat. BTW could you check out my new topic please which I link at the bottom of this post? Thanks very much!
