Case & Motherboard compatability

I just bought the NZXT Crafted Series Phantom Full tower computer case and the mSi Big Bang-XPower II LGA 2011 Intel X79 motherboard and it is being shipped at this very moment and I am extremely concerned that my motherboard will not fit in the case that I have already purchased. I read a few things online saying that E-ATX and XL-ATX are practically interchangeable and I also read that they are not so will somebody please tell me...I really hope I haven't wasted any of my money or time.
