Build Advice Case needs more color

Earlier last year I built my first computer, using as much iCue compatible components I could find. In fact, most of my accessories are Corsair. I have the Corsair 5000X case, and I absolutely love the way it looks. The problem, though, is that I can't get enough light from my fans, RAM, etc to show off the internal components, unless I use an almost white color setup. Also, iCue won't control my Gigabyte graphics card, so in order to have multiple color schemes I have to disable those lights, which leaves the entire bottom half of the case with nothing at all. So, I'd like to add something in there, maybe some LED strips (?), just to get a little more light when I'm using darker color schemes. I'm curious, though, what you all would recommend and how you'd place them in the case.

LED strips are the way to go, hidden around the edges of the panel and directed towards the innards of your case(components) to have them bathe in light. If you were not sticking to Corsair gear, you might be able to look at fans that have more illumination on their peripheries.

I'm certainly not opposed to changing my fans out, as long as they'll all work with iCue, simply because I'm new to all this and iCue is super easy for me to use.
