Hello all. I built my first PC over the weekend. I’m a complete newbie at this and I’m worried I have screwed up. I forgot to put my cooler into pcpartpicker and so when I saw no compatibility issues I thought I was good, so I didn’t even think to check sizes for fit issues.
So, I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo cooler and a Cougar MX-330 Air case. Apparently the cooler is too big per the specs, BUT, it does seem to fit I think. Best I can tell the heatsink tips are not touching the tempered glass but it’s hard to say for sure and now I’m worried.
Should I remove it and use the stock one that came with the Ryzen 5 3600 until I can exchange the Cooler Master? Or just roll with it? Maybe I’m just paranoid? Thanks for any insight.
