I have bought a new case. But it hasn´t got the "mobo beeps" speaker.
Well, I have gota spare one with these charasteristics:
power: 0.3 w
impedande: 8 ohms.

is it suitable?. I don´t want to burn my mobo

regards

It would be impossible for you to burn your mobo. If you do the math (ohm's law), you are well within the margin of safety.

You could hook up a home stereo speaker and still not have a problem, the ohms govern the amps output through the circuit, any 8 ohm speaker should be fine (heck, a 4 ohm speaker would probably do as well).
