Case takes molex for each fan?

Im going to buy the Apevia X-Trooper and I only have about 3 molex connectors im not using.. It looks like each fan takes a molex connector for the case. Can someone fill me in about this? Is there a way to get extra molex connectors? (splitters etc.) Any help is gratefull!

There are splitters, and the molex fans I have run in line. Meaning I can plug my two intake fans into eachother, then into the molex on the power.

The fan's should have small 3 pin connectors that fit into the motherboard case fan headers.

Yeah they are all molex. If you look closely you can see on each set of fans there are 2 molex plugs, one male, one female. You plug the power into the female end, and then if you need to plug in more fans they then plug into the male portion of the fan.

The you can daisy chain them together. But not change speed. Better off with a molex to fan 3 pin and using the mobo - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=285&cPath=73 - for each fan.

^Thats the opposite of what you meant, that changes a 3 pin motherboard fan into a 4 pin molex. (The 3 pin connector needs to be female, not male)

Pretty much, chain them together and see where it gets you, some may be too far apart. You should be able to use 2 for all the fans. One for the front and sides, one for the rear fan.

This depends on how long the cables are, if you can get them all chained together it will work off 1.

One more question. Does daisy chaining it result in lower fan speeds? Like its receiving less power?

Not typically, they dont draw nearly enough power to do that.
