Case that's good for a water loop

Hi all,
i'm relatively new to computers but completely new to water cooling and especially custom water loops. I was building a rig and decided on using a R9 290X. I hear that they run hot as hell and i intend to add another one for crossfire once i get the money. I heard that even starting out with one I would need a third party cooler right off the bat (first off is this true? because other wise i can deal with this later) and then especially if i get another, quite possibly with overclocking. Either way i intend to eventually get a water loop so i was wondering if anyone knew of a (good looking, practicality comes first though) case which was good for building water loops and also if anyone had any ideas of setups for these cases.

This is my current build

Thanks!

EDIT: I screwed up and put this in the overclocking section, anyone know how to move it?

I like the Corsair Obsidians either the 450, 750, or 900 depending on your budget. There's also a new Zalman Z15 that looks pretty awesome that hasn't quite come out yet.
You may be able to get a decent setup in the case you selected as well. I like the NZXT Phantom Towers too. Full towers are huge but more room makes custom cooling much more practical.

In terms of practical and good looking with price and size not being issues this is your benchmark:

All else will compromise on something but understandably money and space tend to be important. Hope this helps! Have fun!

Thanks,

Alright thanks man, i'm pretty tight on cash right now so i'll probably use a AIO on my 290X because i'm honestly worried it's gonna die and then later rig up a water loop. 900Ds expensive as hell for me (maybe it always is) so i'll probably stay with the 500R or the 750D (these cases actually competed before for me) and if it takes me ages to get my 'stuff' together i'll look into the zalman.

Thanks for the input!

Alright so i don't remember how i came to this conclusion but at the moment i'm going with the 750D. I was wondering if you might be able to help me with it? I've been checking out how most people create a water loop in it and it seems that many add an intake rad in the bottom, an intake fan in the back and a 3 x 120mm exhaust rad in the top. I understand the concept and i'd like to do it (step by step, considering the cost) but to get radiators on the bottom you'd need to remove the HDD cages. Is this system for SSD only rigs or am i missing something?

EDIT: I'd only go that far (all those flippin rads) if it was required, as i added components because at the moment, with my current components i doubt i would need all that

Most people have a mix of ssd and hdd. You'd have to be spending $$$ to have an all SSD system. That's what's great about the Obsidian series and the 750D is an excellent choice as it gives you the flexibility to adjust as your needs change. You'll be good. Just do your homework on closed loop cooling. Watch as many vids as you can and you'll start seeing the pattern for what's recommended. You want as much cool air flowing into your system to cool the hot liquid rushing through the radiators and have all that flow out readily. Keep that in mind and you'll get the gist. Good luck! Have fun!
