(Case) Thermaltake Level 10GT worth it??

The Thermaltake Level 10 GT is a good case if you need e-peen. Personally though, if I were spending that much then I'd straight away opt for the Silverstone Fortress FT02.

Its arguably the best premium case available in the market as of this date.

Looks sleek! but I think the 10gt looks better, I guess both are top tier case and it's more a question of personnal taste, i'll look more into the Silverstone fortress tho.

Tell me if you know any other high end case, thanks!

Level 10 GT is a very custom design. In terms of that, you are not going to get any comparative models. You need to look into other custom models only. Such as -

Antec Skeleton

Lian-Li PC 888

^+1.

If you look carefully you will see that ive even slightly modded my FT02, have a look at the BlueRay drive at the bottom of the 5.25" slots. When i put the original Blue Ray drive in there it was a different colour black to the rest of the case and i didnt like it, so i took the FT02 cases original drive blanking plate which is lovely anodised aluminium and with my handy dremel i grafted it onto the front of the Blue Ray drive.

I personally am a huge fan of Lian Li cases... amazing quality and you can get a nice one for about half the price of the 10GT.

And then Corsair has some REALLY nice cases.

I can almost guarantee that they would function a whole lot better than the 10GT, although I've never owned a $200+ case, so I really can't say that for sure. If you take a look inside, though, it's OBVIOUS that they've been designed really, really well and are an extremely high quality case. Just a suggestion. :)

Whyo much hate for Thermaltake cases? I think its more of a design preference than anything. The Level 10 GT is more of a edgy design than a sleek smooth design. But the argument can also be made that its not just a rectangular box like every other case as well.

Thermaltake quality on recent case designs have gotten alot better.

Dont get me wrong I love the Thermaltake lvl10gt but I'ts just too expensive, I'd rather get another high end case with an ssd then paying full price for a lvl 10 gt

I'm still not sure which case I'll get anyway I might end up getting the Thermaltake 10gt lol

Right now its between the Antec DF-85 and the HAF X RC-42

I understand. I just hate to see when people flock in attacking something different and suggesting a design thats also good but not really innovative.... Its all in ones choice of style tbh. If you end up with the Level 10 GT you would probably like it.... I know I do. but then again take a good hard look at the style to ensure its the look your going for. being the other cases your looking at I would say you like the edgy not just a box or a smoothed box design which is cool dont get me wrong..... But I switched my HAF for a level 10 GT for a reason ;)

I really think need to look at the styling more than anything tbh.

also i wrote a review on it here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?272443-Thermaltake-Level-10-GT

I just liked cable management more than anything the case has a huge cutout for backplate/cooler installs..... internal USB 3.0 header, plenty of space behind the mobo tray for cable routing.... plus I just flat out like the styling..... at first it was different but once I looked at it for a minute or 2 I loved the unique design cues it has.... and the usability is a huge plus.

Any case has good cable management as long as you have a dremel/drill and an eye for planning cable routes, I never consider cable management as a selling point because if its needed, I make it happen,
I have actually started sketching plans for a GT mod, but I have to finish my psycho rider first and sell that
**Edit, after some surfing, its actually the aluminium level10 I want to hack up :p the G10 is plastic

I hear ya there man.... but then again many dont really wanna hack up their case or lack the necessary tools/skills to do so.... I believe thats where the marketing points to on the cable management side.

£25 quid case Uther? Check third siglink :)
Gf's case was two for £15 hehe, added 2x80mms and 2x120s in the side panel
25 is just blowout budget hehe
I Know how you mean Punx, it just seems daft to me people will pay extra for cable management when a couple of drillholes is all they really need :p
I look at cases and see what they can be, not what they are,
Also willing to help out anyone near enough to where I live if they're not confident enough hehe
