Hello, Does anyone know of a relatively inexpensive case that will fit my build? Im mainly concerned about the motherboard because its 12x10.5 inches (Asus x99-e ws).

The build is supposed to be a personal workstation for heavy maya usage. I was lookign at the define r4 for a case but Im not sure if it fits. Help please

The Define XL R2 is a larger Define series case and would work fine with the motherboard that you want to put in it.

However if you like the Arc Series, there is an option for that too http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/arc-series/arc-xl

Don't forget to check out the Enthoo (Luxe, Pro, Primo) series from Phanteks too.
I advise the Corsair Carbide Air 540. It's shorter but wider than typical cases, with the drive mostly being in a separate chamber from the motherboard. It has 4 2.5" bays and 2 5.35" bays on the separate chamber from the MB, but 2 3.5" bays in the same chamber as the motherboard, but down at the bottom. The main chamber is big enough to handle big motherboards, but still small enough to mount liquid coolers in either the front intake or top exhaust positions.

I absolutely LOVE mine. I have not found a better case for me. Some don't like the short squat look, but I find it easier to handle, and looks good sitting on a wheeled platform under my desk.

I was not aware of that case, but looking up pics of the internals, it looks like it would be very tight, and you wouldn't be able to make use of the cable management. It may even block some of the SATA ports. The way to judge it would be to see how much room there is beyond the third set of mounting posts. The Asus X99-E WS extends about 1.75 inches beyond those mounting posts.

The Beyond r4 has only about a quarter of an inch from those mounts before the cable management holes, and about 2.5 inches to the drive bays. It would not be an advisable case for this board.

Thank you for searching! Apparently the fans are loud on that case, I like everything about it except for that. With rendering its going to be a jet engine in my room.

eh, fans can be changed. I always change out the default fans, except the rear fan of my Air 540. Corsair fans are pretty good. The ones included with the Air 540 are a little loud at max speeds, but my Asus motherboard has some nice bios level controls to keep them near silent until the motherboard gets warm, and then they are still barely audible. That X99-E WS has those same controls.

You could always get a couple of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181028&cm_re=corsair_AF140-_-35-181-028-_-Product

I really like fractal's cases but I don't believe there is one that fits my board. I checked out the bequiet cases and apparently those scratch extremely easily, like just putting something on top would damage it.

I decided to go with the Define XL R2 http://www.ncix.com/detail/fractal-design-define-xl-r2-b1-78225-1360.htm.

Im just hoping all the cables reach around properly. Thanks.

No problem. If you have any other questions let me know. I am always available via private messages.

I just found this thread and notice that I have the same CPU, Motherboard and GPU. I am actually working on the case now and wondered if you were happy with your selection? (the Define XL - R2).
Thanks

The case was an amazing choice for me. It had clearance for all of my parts, the motherboard fit perfectly and the cable management was a breeze. You'd be very happy with this case, its sturdy and has many great features for the price.
