[SOLVED] Case USB 3.0 Connector Doesn’t fit motherboard.

There is a small, rectangular black piece of plastic at the end of my Corsair Spec Delta’s USB 3.0 connector that won’t fit the motherboard header, but it looks like if I remove it it’ll fit. Is this a good idea?

Was the case used with another build/motherboard prior? That USB 3 for the case looks like you ripped the boot out of your older motherboard.

Yeah, it was actually, from the same model just without WiFi 6. So it’d be safe to pry off then?

You should remove the boot that outside the case's front panel USB header that should go on the motherboard. Once removed, you can then align the pins to the board and plug in.
