Case usb port 3.0 short circuit

hello guys i want to use the usb3.0 port as 5v 1ah power supply but im not sure what will happen if an short circuit occurred will it damage my mother board or anything ...idont care about the wire

specs :
B85-plus (asus protected anti surge mobo)
650vs corsair
corsair spec-03 case

i have a external usb 2.0 port for 4 usb that cost 2.5$

Uhmm, i don't see any reason it would short out or not work.

Wall plug - USB Extension - USB to USB pinout, plug the case pins into the adapter.

Easy enough, and i see no risk of short.

Well that's how DC works what exactly would you be doing to get power to the hub?
