My system is about 1 month old.

I have just replaced my PSU and on the same day, I could not get my NZXT s340 front 2 usb 3.0 ports to work.

The back 4 usb ports work so its just the case ports not working. The audio ports next to the front 2 usb ports is working and of course, the power button too.

At first I saw a device with error on device manager and I updated it and that error disappeared but those 2 usb ports are still not working. I tried updating all Universal Serial Bus controller with no result. Went into BIOS and I checked that all usb ports are enabled.

I checked the cables from the case to the mobo by replugging them in, doesnt work. There are 2 with single pin and 2 with 2 pins. I have not plugged those to the neighbouring pin connectors as I am not sure about that.

My mobo is Asus H170-Pro, PSU is Fractal Design Edison 550W and im using Windows 10.

Would greatly appreciate any advice as this is so odd. I definitely have used the front usb ports for external HDD before replacing the PSU.

Solution
Doesnt the usb 3.0 just need to be plugged into the mobo, and power comes from its blue connection point on the mobo. usually its found near the 24pin connector?

You are right. I actually found out about that just now after reading the mobo manual. I was busy checking the smaller cables but completely missed out on that particular cable.

Thanks for the reply.
