Hello everyone!

I build my computer a year ago or something like that and a few months ago my casefans stopped working. I have one in and one out fan and both aren't working anymore. I remember testing and messing around a bit with them. I reinstalled my OS and my BIOS is also on default at the moment. Does anyone know what could cause this problem?

All I kinda did was messing with software and I pulled the little wire out of my motherboard with both then the moment I did it back they didn't work anymore I guess both of em. My PSU seems to be fine.

Was the Mobo powered up when you disconnected them? Were the fans spinning when you disconnected them?

What do you mean little wire? The fans have 3 wires or possibly 4 on a small connector. You connect them to the right spot?

The fans were not spinning and the mobo was not powered up, and with the little wire I just ment a wire with a connector that the fan needs to spin. And yes I put them in the right spot. When I checked my bios to see the fan information it said my CPU fan was spinning but at the other places it said N/A. So he doesn't recognize them or whatever or they aren't getting power it seems like.

Greetings

You need to set them in the bios I bet. Look up what connectors your fans are connected to in the mobo book and then set them up in the bios.

While overclocking did you have to reset your bios? That would erase anything that was in there previously. Ahh yep, your bios is at default, the fan profiles aren't set up anymore. Just the CPU one, and thats usually defaulted on.
