Cassandra Goth is pregnant by Don Lothario, so I decided to try to get
them hitched--big party and all, since I still had the wedding arch
and chairs that came with the Goth house and wanted to use them one
more time (Mortimer married Dina Caliente in a lovely ceremony).

This time, I got to have eleven guests, so it was a bit of a zoo at
first. Cassandra had to tear Don away from playing with the pinball
machine upstairs, but eventually, they stood together under the arch
and I waited to see if he would dump her. But no--they said their
vows and embraced. Many of the guests were off drinking champagne
already. Of the guests sitting in chairs, supposedly watching the
ceremony, all the women had their eyes turned toward Daniel Pleasant
instead--the stud. But everyone applauded--even Mortimer, who was at
the other end of the back yard, facing away from the arch. He doesn't
like Don very much.

Don Lothario became Don Goth and joined the family. As the toast were
getting underway, the car showed up to take Don to work. I figured I
would let him go, but Kaylynn whatsit (the maid) was among the guests,
so I decided to try having Don goose her on the way out. Had to
cancel the Go to Work action, and goose her he did. ALL the guests
were embarrassed (which was amusing--I hadn't seen that before), and
Dina, Alexander, and Mortimer got way negative points for Don.
Between that and previous problems, Morty now has -83 short term for
Don and -40 long term. This family has some tough times ahead.
Meanwhile, Cassandra still loved Don 100%--maybe because of a jealousy
hack, in which case the hack doesn't affect things as I thought it
would--I guess embarrassment is governed by something different in the
game than jealousy. Don didn't seem to mind everyone else's
discomfort.

I then tred to click on the work car, but even trying several times
did nothing, so I had Don and Cassandra dance together, and they
boogied it up. Cassandra's pregnancy didn't slow her down in either
the dancing or the champagne drinking. A bit later, I was able to
click on the car and get the Go to Work option, but that was just at
the time when the car was about to leave, so it left. I guess it was
worth taking Don's one vacation day for his own wedding reception.
The party was a success, and the limo came. Don and Cassandra ran for
it, but when she got there, Cassandra said that as pregnant as she
was, she had better stay home and rest. Don got in the limo and rode
away to honeymoon alone (or, more likely, with someone he would pick
up at a bar, or the maid). It was kind of unfair; he came back later
with his bars all green, and Cassandra had to work hers up the
old-fashioned way--eating, peeing, chatting with her brother, etc.
going on a honeymoon would have been better for her.

Meanwhile, Don still has the hots for Dina, who is now his
stepmother-in-law, but she's no longer any too keen on him (though she
keeps thinking about him and thinks he's hot). He's going to have to
work on her while Cassandra isn't looking. In fact, after Cassandra
went to bed, Dina joined Don in the hot tub, and she's not as minus
with him as she used to be.

Appro po of almost nothing. I've found a way to marry Romance Sims off
without getting the negative points for realising a fear. The simple version
is that you wait till they have no fear, but that can be difficult if not
impossible. The way to get the fear off of the radar is to knock them up.
When they hit their second trimester all their fears become the being
pregnant ones and et wallah, se manifique. Married Romance Sim.

Don't rub it in. ;-)

MY Cassandra is now working on the new resident in the Pleasant
house--Luke Skywalker.

(The Pleasant women, may they rest in peace, were all killed in a
massive kitchen fire.)

Oh, now you have got me thinking.

What wouldn;t I give to see a pregnant Sim bride give birth during a
wedding?

Granny.

Ooooo, great idea! Is it possible to time the birth that closely?
Cassandra dropped her spawn at something like 4:30 a.m., and I'm sure
that's not the time when she conceived, so it's obviously not a simple
three-day correlation.

They give birth about one day and one hour after they enter the third
trimester.
