One of my favorite cards ever produced was Ashnod's Coupon from
Unglued. I just liked the idea of making one of my friends continually
getting me drinks. I don't care if I had to pay for them, just
"Service!" Up until now I've plugged my coupons into a Stupid Green
Deck structure - Gaea's Blessing, Oath of Druids, Wall of Blossoms,
Spike Weaver ... I stay alive recurring the Coupons as many times as I
can before ending the game with a big Hurricane.

Now I have a new engine to drop the coupon into. Just need to hold on
to my stomach:

4 x Auriok Salvagers
2 x Leonin Squires
4 x Artificers Intuition
3 x Trinket Mage

4 x Ashnod's Coupon
4 x Wayfarer's Bauble
3 x Pulse of the Fields
3 x Chromatic Sphere
2 x Conjurer's Bauble
2 x Sunbeam Spellbomb
2 x Aether Spellbomb
2 x Serum Tank
2 x Serum Visions
2 x Temporal Cascade
1 x Salvaging Station

4 x W/U Fetchland
4 x W Artifact Land
4 x U Artifact Land
6 x Plains
2 x Island

Thoughts?

Diabolical. Drop in a Lion's Eye Diamond. Now you can create unbounded
amounts of colored mana. Use that to recur the coupon as many times as
you want. "Glass of water" is an excellent request, as it doesn't cost
you anything. If that doesn't merit a concession (pun!), I don't know
what will.

Heh.
A couple years back, me & my roommate came up with a completely
non-legal "Concession Stand" deck.. 60 Ashnod's Coupons. Buy a
12-pack or five and leave them at home, or in a dorm on the other
hill, or whatever. ( We were in college at the time. ) Use one Coupon
at a time, targeting one of the drinks you left Some Distance Away.
Hopefully it gives you time to finish the first drink before they get
you the next one. Once you play & use 2 or 3, (use each one before
playing the next), they'll get the hint that you're not playing sane.
If they want to finish the game, they'll beat you before too long,
but is it really worth it to them to make the trip after each turn?
Assuming they're not smart enough to bring the whole 12-pack over, or
that you don't have the 12-pack all in one spot still.

Fun memories. Silly card :) I'd love to play against a deck that
made actual use of it.

Strike & Co.
