Where do I find Catalyst Install Manager?

Forgive the Questions, I just got my 4870, and Haven't used ATI since my X850XT

You can run it through the control panel -> Add/remove programs I believe.

Yep, that is correct. Add/Remove programs and then "change". Then select uninstall all ATI SW.

@ Alextheawesome: What were your benchmark results from before you installed the 10.3a driver?

Edit: @BuilderbobFTW- Unknown_13 posted the link just above here. Its probably best to uninstall and then resintall the new driver, but you probably don't have to unless you have problems installing it over the top of your other drivers.

Oops, sorry. Yeah, I'm experiencing some problem with 10.3a so I'm going back to 10.2 and then I'll get the benchmark for that.

When I booted into windows error's where popping up saying "catalyst control center: line centre (or something) failed to start" and then the whole close program or wait for program to respond. This is only one message that popped up though that I can remember.

wow, I just installed the 10.3 preview. I love the new features! My biggest favorite is bezel correction! Oh it works soo well. I haven't tried it in games probably due to the lack of a 3rd monitor.

I've had no major issues. I noticed some flickering textures in Dirt 2, but I had seen those on 9.12 HF as well so I think it was just their patch messed something up. I'll keep testing though.

Well, 3dMark Vantage didn't seem to change much (a few points higher, but well within the realm of run to run variation), but Dirt 2... WOW.
I went from 62.0 average fps, to 73.7 average fps! I'm pretty impressed with that. Also- not a single hitch, glitch, flicker, anything. Working perfectly right now. Very nice

Hmm, so 10.3a drivers, newest patch for Dirt 2 correct? Try Utah, Kane Creek track (or something like that, the one with the really long and fast start section). Also, what are your settings in CCC. Thanks.

Ext- I've not played the game all that much yet, but I'm running 2 5750's in crossfire (no overclocking of the GPU's). My CCC settings are to just to use application settings currently, I've been doing a lot of testing and stuff, and will probably start boosting those settings in CCC once I get everything tweaked the way I want it. I also have only had Dirt2 for a little bit, and have only played a little bit, so I haven't really unlocked many tracks, and have mostly been running the in-game benchmark, but the frame rates reported by Fraps on other maps while I'm actually playing and racing correspond to what I see in the benchmark. I'll try to do some stuff with other maps later, but thats where I'm at for now

Ah, gotcha. Utah is at least second tier. If you take out that track, I have seen very few other issues.
