I just installed this driver, wanted to not how much of a bitch it was to install for it kept crashing out just before it installed the WDM software. ATI did recomend SP2 but to hell with that and bet that was the culprit but with a litte hell-bent mode I got the driver to install.

This driver is worth installing over the 4.12b driver and did get a 100 point boost in 3dmark03 and set a new record, 4fps increase with doom3, and 7fps increase with HL2 so I guess it was worth the hell.
