[SOLVED] Cat6 slower than my Cat5e?

Hi guys, just built a pc a week ago. My cat6 ethernet gives me 90 down 0.2 up, while my old cat5e gives me 90 down 10 up.

Can't be a faulty cat6 since I switched and tried 3 different cat6 cables. Any ideas on why cat6 is so much slower for me?

If only one pc is having problems compare its' network adapter specs and configuration to those of the computer not having any problems with Cat6.

Does the problem PC have a built-in network adapter or is it using a USB or PCIe network adapter?

Disable the current network adapter and temporarily install another network adapter and test.

Need to narrow down the possibilities.

Where did you get the Cat6 cables?

What is printed along the length of those Cat6 cables?

Are you able to try those Cat6 cables in some other network environment?

Determine if the problem follows the cables or remains with the original network environment.

Got them from bestbuy, theres nothing printed on them, just your standard bestbuy insignia brand. All 3 CAT6s worked fine with my other pc, which is also hooked up to the same modem/router. 10mb upload.

All 3 Cat6s give me the same upload speed on my new one, which is 0.2. I''m thinking maybe my new pc isn't compatible with CAT6s? My motherboard is Gigabyte b450 aorus, which should work.
