[SOLVED] CAT8 Ethernet cable not working ?

I have recently built a new computer (3900x)... After putting it together on MSI x570 Meg Ace WiFi, I have realised my connection is very slow (1.2MB/s download only)... I have CAT8 cable and 100Mbps broadband... WiFi worked perfectly (14MB/s download), but it bothered me anyway... I have used that board for 3-4 days and decided to change, so I have sent it back and ordered ASUS x570 Crosshair VIII Hero WiFi... I have turned my old system (i5-4690k on MSI Z97 Gaming 5) back, so I have a computer for these few days before I get new mobo... Cable works fine on the old system getting full speed of 100Mbps (13-14MB/s download)... Now I got my ASUS board and put new system back together... I have exactly the same problem with ethernet, it either works very slow or doesn't work at all, or it says "connected", but it won't connect even to Steam... I have all the chipset/LAN drivers installed, cable works fine with the old system... Where can be the problem?

Probably the easiest fix would be to use a CAT5E cable, I get 880Mbps over each one of mine testing from NVMe to NVMe system to keep the storage speed out of the equation.

CAT8 cables are meant for short (<30m) high frequency (2GHz) high speed (25-40Gbps) use.

My CAT8 cable is 20m long...
I've got some other cables, I'll get my PC closer to the router and try with different cable, but I really don't think that's the issue here since old computer works with that very same CAT8 cable just fine utilising full speed...

The issue is not the cable itself, it just doesn't play well with other cables and/or connectors that are certified below CAT6A that are used elsewhere in the network.

I didn't find CAT5E cable, so I have ordered one... Will be delivered on Saturday... I will post my results...
