Catalyst 14.11.2 Beta -> DVI doesn't wake after sleep/restart/shutdown

I have an AMD R9 290. I just updated my drivers to Catalyst 14.11.2 Beta. I have 2 monitors connected to the card. One over DVI, one over HDMI. I've never experienced any problems before but ever since the update when I sleep/restart/shutdown and it comes back online, the screen connected through DVI doesn't wake up. I have to manually replug the DVI cable (in the same slot works..) to make it get detected.

Anyone with a similar issue or a fix?

I've also contacted AMD support and I'll post if they reply.

Roll back to previous driver in Device Manager if everything was working fine before the update. You shouldn't be using beta drivers anyway on your primary PC if you expect everything to work properly.

Never update a driver just because it's not the latest version. If everything is working fine, leave the drivers alone.

Well.. That did the trick.. I updated to beta because apparently they fixed some issues that happened with Dragon Age Inquisition + a performance increase. But you're right. I should probably just use my current ones untill I run into an issue, then resolve it with trying driver updates!

Thanks for the help
