Heya, so my laptop's is a HP Pavilion dv6, and my graphics card is a Radeon HD7690M XT

So CCC was on my laptop (according to the uninstall manager) but I couldnt open it at all. So I thought I would uninstall it and install a new version (AMD Mobility Catalyst™ 13.10 Beta for Windows).

I did that, but the new version was in conflict with my card for some reason and wouldnt let me configure my graphics options either, so I got rid of it as well.

So yeah, do uninstall the card and reinstall it, or is their another CCC version that I should have downloaded?

I download the latest Windows 8 and 7 64 bit driver and all it does is install the Install Manager??

Install this > http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/catalyst-uninstall-utility.aspx and try again. If you still have issues download the latest drivers at HP's website or just give me the exact model for your laptop.

EDIT: Follow these instructions to manually install the driver:

1. Run the installer to extract the files to the hard disk, then quit the installation.

2. Open the control panel, and access the device manager.

3. Right click on the graphics card, and click Update Driver Software.

4. On this panel, click on "Browse My Computer for driver software."

5. You will see a path box, and a checkbox. You will need to enter the location of the drivers, by default, this will be C:\AMD\Support\13-
4_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql\Packages\Drivers. You will also need to check the Include Subfolders checkbox. Click Next.

6. Windows will start to install the drivers by itself, it should take a few minutes, and the screen will flicker a few times while its updating. Once its finished, the driver info panel should show that it is the correct version.

I do everything you say to do, but when I finish step 5, it wont install and a message saying that the card is already up to date comes up. Though, there is an exclamation mark on the icon for the card, and I get the message "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" when I right click on it.
