Catylist 9.8 crashes

weird.. i kept hearing about all the good things in the newest drivers... first time having bad drivers from AMD

So, today i installed the new catalysist drivers but have had problem after problem with them. Bioshock lasted about 15 minuites then CTD, crysis lasted longer, about half an hour then same thing as bioshock... CTD.

*sigh* had to go back to 9.7, no more problems but wish 9.8 was workin.. wanted those crysis framerate boosts.

so my question is, has anyone else had any bad experiences with 9.8 or is it just my 3870s loosing their support

9.8 works perfect for 2x 4890's maybe gpus

thanks for the reply jaydeejohn, i'll give that a shot tomarow morning and let ya know how it works. even if it doesnt work i dont mind using 9.7 till 9.9 comes out.

They've worked fine for me (other than having to delete all the config files for one game to even get it to start, but that is just because that game is weird).

I get weird stuff with 8.9 on vista32

The first install gave me an incorrect driver version error when CCC popped up.

After reinstalling a second time and rebooting I got a shadow screen. I could see my desktop but it was a dark shadow like it was burned into a CRT monitor.

When I start up L4D, my USB mouse freezes temporarily. Little too buggy for me.

9.7 it is.
