While removing things off my computer I was going to give to a friend.Decided I wanted to change admin name and password. I used netplwiz to do this.
Restart computer, login name was still mine. Yet this time my password didn't work, tried the new password didn't work also.

Upon google searches to fix this the only option I had was
move C:\windows\system32\utilman.exe C:\windows\system32\utilman.exe.bak
copy C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe C:\windows\system32\utilman.exe

As I couldn't boot into safe mode (I tried many different ways)

Anyway after entering that into the cmd, I restart. Blue screen error oxcoooooof
I can't find any fix for this, anyone here can help fix that?

Or is there a way to find my product code (windows 8 upgraded to windows 10) I have the SSD with the OS plugged into my new computer if that helps to fix the issue or find the code.

Solution
If the system was on Windows 10 and was activated, you can just install Windows 10 clean on the system and it will activate when you logon to your Windows account. Issue is that you will need your account to do that. You can then create a new account for your friend to use on that computer. Not sure why you were messing with some utility to change the admin password, just change it through Windows as it should be done.
So basically, what you're trying to do, is to break into pc without knowing the password.
Sorry - TomsHardware will not help you with that.

Only suggestion you can get is to reinstall windows 10. You won't need the product key. It will activate automatically. Just install correct windows 10 version (Home or Pro). Wrong one will not activate.

Well techically I know the old password and the new password but it didnt change the user so I was locked out. And also with the BSOD that is off the tables anyway.

I get the blue screen error when I try use windows install media also.
As I said it was a windows 8 upgraded to 10. If I get passed the BSOD will windows 8 activate?

Ok so I can use my new windows 10 USB to install it then?

But then I still have the problem of the blue screen which comes up before windows install does. If I format the SSD will windows still activate?

Windows 10 is not user friendly everything in different places so I googled changing admin netplwiz was the frist result so I used it.

I do have the windows 8 product code somewhere in my garage, that will take months to find

If your system crashed when trying to install Windows, try one RAM stick at a time or different RAM, resetting the BIOS to defaults may also help.
