CCC - AMD display driver

I'm installing catalyst control center and I see the option to install: 'amd display driver'
I already have graphic card configured with existing driver and it works.
Will it affect my graphic card in any way or this is a completely different thing?

AMD does update their drivers regularly so you can ignore the install driver option and just go to the AMD site and download the current driver if different from what you have.
