I have this build at the moment which amounts to £1100. I'm planning for gaming on a 1080p AOC 24g2 144Hz monitor which seems good in the price range.

Just replace the RAM to 2x8GB 3600Mhz. Ebuyer usually has the best deals for RAM. You can also give this outfit a shot. One of the best in the UK although there's a few other decent ones.

Yea man there no shame in buying a pre built. Its just good business . 2666 isnt bad at all but remember Ryzen likes higher clocked ram. Maybe try intel build where ram speeds in that range are not going to break the build as bad.
