I just got a new CD Writer, the Creative 12x10x32, however, for some odd reason GoldenHawk's CDRwin won't recognize this drive. I usually use CDRWin to write *.cue (well, cue sheet, there is another file called *.bin, if you used it before you know what I am talking about). I am looking for an alternative way to write this type of CD Images, anyone know any programs would do that? like Nero or something???

THANKS! If you know how to get Creative to work with CDRWin, please tell me as well, I think I need ASPI driver or something but I can't get it to work...

Nero has worked for me. I also like FireBurner (freeware; get it at http://www.fireburner.com) although FireBurner might require an ASPI layer; I can't recall.

The general consensus, I think, is that Nero is the best CD burning software. You can download a fully functional 30-day demo from their site; I would suggest starting there.

Good luck!

Ya I have heard a lot of great things about Nero; however, does it burn cue/bin files? That's really the major thing I need

Yes. Nero will burn cue/bin files. It doesn't show up on the pull down menu (.nrg), but if you just double click on the .cue, it will load the image.

Cdrwin is finiky. You'll probably have to upgrade to 4.0 to get your creative to work. I had to on my plex 12x. Nero 5.5+ on that drive as well. Burn proof just makes all the old programs go whacky.
