Cd drive not opening

Hello,
i reinstall windows 98 recently after installation i lost 256 colour display. in setting panel i see only 2 & 16 color palette
what i do for 256 color display?

Have u install the driver for all of your hardware??
About your cd drive, make sure the cable power is properly inserted.
How old is your pc?

wow must be a pretty dam old PC.

anyways if all else fails copy the contents of the disc to a usb drive and use that.


oh wait, does it even have usb ports???
