Cd drive working but not showing on windows

I have a Lenovo V470(core i5) the cd drive runs when I put a disk inside.But Windows7 refuses to accept it(I've tried cd-Rom,DVD and Cd-Rw)

Is the CD drive icon shown in Windows Explorer/My Computer?

If yes, insert a CD in the drive, let it spin up, then double-click the icon.
