CD-DVD drive

My Panasonic CF-29 can't read any cd in the drive. Keeps on asking to insert drive, or says disc is corrupted

Maybe your drive is bad; I ordered my samsung 22x Dvd burner from newegg recently for $21.98 including shipping. If you live in the states, get on newegg's email promos list to receive weekly specials with promo codes good only if you register with them.

sounds like bad drive or the drivers for it are corupted try reinstalling the drive see if that helps

I had the same problem recently

it turned out my drive went bad

but just to make sure, try uninstalling and reinstalling the device
and try cleaning the drive
