Cd/dvd problems

For some reason my emachine T6212 pc will not open the doors on my dvd or cd,I cant seem to find any driver updates .plus I really dont know what type of cd/dvd playersthey are? I look on the device driver page and it says this :
TSSTcorp CD/DVD TS-H552B microsoft,VOB computersysteme GmbH
sometimes the cd door will open so i think its a program issue(conflict) or driver up date not really sure tho..

It's a Toshiba-Samsung product -- probably a Samsung as they have
a problem with sticking drawers usually caused by the magnetic puck used to hold the CD in place refusing to lift when there's no disc in the drawer.

I'd go back to the retailer and ask them to replace the drive with another brand.
